Lead times, carriers, customs and what happens if something goes wrong in transit.
We ship worldwide. All AIR lenses are manufactured at our production workshop in Lviv, Ukraine, and dispatched from there — including orders placed by customers in the United States.
A small number of destinations are unavailable because of carrier restrictions or export controls. If yours is one of them, we will tell you before taking payment and refund the order in full.
All AIR lenses are made to order. Nothing ships from stock unless we tell you otherwise, so the time to delivery is production time plus transit time.
| Series | Estimated delivery |
|---|---|
| AIR Original | To be confirmed |
| AIR Canon FD | Q1 2027 |
Exact timing depends on your configuration, the current production queue and order volume. We confirm your estimated delivery window before your order is scheduled for production, and we update you by email as it moves through the queue.
These are estimates, not guaranteed dates. If we cannot deliver within a reasonable period and you no longer want to wait, you can cancel and receive a full refund — see our refunds and returns policy.
From time to time we may have demo units or limited availability for faster delivery. Write to us to check what is on hand.
Transit time starts when the parcel leaves our workshop, not when you place the order.
| Method | Transit time |
|---|---|
| UPS express | 8–15 days |
| Ukrposhta standard | 30–40 days |
Transit times are carrier estimates and exclude time held at customs in your country, which we cannot predict or influence.
For lens sets and higher-value orders we recommend UPS. Ukrposhta standard is slower and offers more limited tracking and recourse if a parcel goes missing.
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your destination, the size and weight of the order and the method you choose. The full amount is shown before you pay — there are no shipping charges added afterwards.
Orders that ship in more than one parcel are charged once. If we split a shipment for production reasons, you pay nothing extra.
Prices on this site do not include import duties, VAT or customs charges. These are set by your own country, are payable by you, and are usually collected by the carrier before delivery.
We cannot predict what your country will charge, and we cannot pay it on your behalf. Please check with your local customs office or carrier before you order — for a lens at this price point the amount can be significant.
We declare the full commercial value of the goods on every shipment, as the law requires. We cannot under-declare a value or describe an order as a gift.
If you refuse a parcel rather than pay the charges, it is returned to us at your cost. We will refund the price of the lens once it arrives back, less the outbound and return shipping we paid.
Business customers in the EU and UK: give us your VAT and EORI numbers at checkout or by email before dispatch, and we will put them on the customs paperwork.
You receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order is dispatched. All production and shipping updates go to the email address on the order, so please keep it current.
Tracking can go quiet for several days while a parcel clears customs. That is normal and does not mean anything is wrong. If there has been no movement for more than 10 working days, write to us and we will open an enquiry with the carrier.
Please check your delivery address carefully before you pay. Once a parcel has been dispatched we usually cannot redirect it.
If a parcel is returned to us because the address was wrong or incomplete, or because nobody collected it, we will refund the price of the lens once it is back with us, less the shipping costs incurred. We can also re-send it once you pay shipping again.
Risk passes to you when you, or someone you nominate, takes physical possession of the goods. Until then a parcel lost or damaged in transit is our problem, not yours.
If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, note it with the carrier at the point of delivery if you can, then photograph the outer box and the contents before unpacking any further and send the photos to us. This makes the carrier claim much easier.
Tell us about transit damage within 7 days of delivery so we can act while the claim window is still open. We will repair, replace or refund — your choice where more than one remedy is reasonable.
If a parcel never arrives, we will trace it with the carrier and either re-send or refund in full.
Transit insurance is available as an option and is arranged individually. If you want it, tell us before your order is dispatched and we will confirm the cost.
Whether or not you take insurance, section 08 still applies — you are not carrying the risk of a parcel that has not yet reached you.
We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including customs inspection, carrier disruption, strikes, extreme weather, natural disaster, or the effects of armed conflict on production and logistics in Ukraine.
If something like this affects your order, we will tell you as soon as we know and give you a revised estimate. If the delay becomes unreasonable, you may cancel for a full refund of anything not yet delivered.
This does not limit your statutory rights as a consumer.
